OTRS 2.4.5 Duplicating first mail in pop3 queue

I'm tearing my hair out.

My Win32 OTRS is picking up the first mail in a pop3 mailbox (exchange) and duplicating it every 6 minutes. I cant for the life of me work out why.

Any anyone got any ideas. I have stopped the schedule mail pickup as someone has said that maybe its not releasing on picking the mail up, or getting stuck on a bad mail. I have also deleted the mail from the queue to start afresh but the next new mail is has the same problem.

I did run a repair on the databases because I thought there might be a problem and I did get back:

C:\Program Files\OTRS\MySQL\bin\mysqld-nt.exe: Table '.\otrs\ticket_history' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

Which I ran a repair on and that error is resolved

Also in the apache logs I frequentlyget:

2.4.5 is very outdated.... 2.4. is not supported any more (Bugfixes, Security Bugs)

Bit late, Im sorry but it turned out to be DNS related and the mail server location rather than OTRS.
