Hi All
Hope fully some one can help us. We are new to this.
We are running OTRS 3.0.5 on Windows Server 8 with Exhchange 2010 environment

We are getting error in two fronts.

1-Our auto response have stopped working, when our user send email to our help desk email, the email is queued to the OTRS but an auto-message genration have stopped working.

2.Our agents are not able to assign or close tickets. We get following error when closing
Invalid version format (non-numric data at D:/PROGRA~2/otrs/otrs//KERNAL/SYSTEM/LOG.PM LINE 160. Error search on googgle says ticket id may be missing, but we checked the database table and ticket ID are populated.
We can only close tickets under roo@localhost.

Email are being pulled correctly form the postmaster but not able to generate autoresponse. The OTRS and Clients are in the same domain, and I have check the spam fileter as well to see if the email are being blocked.

Hope someone can help us.

As OTRS won't stop working suddenly the question is what was changed?

- New Server
- new Exchange

Hi
Noting to our knowlede in the infrastructre has changed, we have control over the Exchange and AD and have looked what has changed. One thing we did change before we posted this message is the OTRS postmaster account on AD. We were not even getting any new tickets, but once i chaged that accont password the ticket flowed. I beleive i have ot check the SMTP connection but i am not able to find the setting selection there?

Have a look at Core::Sendmail in Sysconfig

Hi All
OK I got auto reponse t work, however am not able agents are not able to close the tickets. I get the previously posted error.

check the settings and the log on your Mailserver again. OTRS mght not be able to send via empty mail from because of the settings on the mail system
