Apache 2.2 failure when upgrading to 3.2.5

Apache 2.2 failure when upgrading to 3.2.5
I recently upgraded my windows version to 3.2.5. I did the standard config backups and DB backup and installed the new version then did an import. Since the upgrade I have noticed that Apache has been randomly been crashing; an auto restart of the service fixes this but it seems to happen several times a day and will drop OTRS for a period of time. Has anyone else encountered this or know of a way to fix the Apache issue?

This is a know issue. There is a new installer available (that uses IIS instead of Apache etc): ftp://ftp.otrs.org/pub/otrs/otrs-3.2.5- ... -beta1.exe

I have tried this new installer in a VM clone of my OTRS install with not much luck. Am I able to transfer all of the configs from my current version of OTRS and import into the new one as normal?
