Add Location field/dropbox

Post by psybi »

Hello,

Our company has over 50 locations, and we're looking to add a field or dropbox to select the location so we know which location is asking a lot of our time.
I know i can add a dynamic field, but is there a module or plugin that can do it?

We would also want to run statistics to know how much time we spend on all specific locations.

We're running OTRS 3.2.10 without ITSM, but we're planning to use it in the near future.

Thanks

Your problem isn't the dynamic field, but the population of the 50 sites?

Well, we would like to know how much time we spend each month on each location/site.

I had to read this a few times to understand the request.

The question is:
"How can we determine how much time we spend each month on each location/site?"

And as you're using a Dynamic Field as criteria ...
I'd probably be thinking "Queue" as "Location" as this makes the queries easier/faster, but I don't know if this changes things with . Most of the information in stats is aggregate/sum overall.

You might have to determine this from a csv export of an existing stat and run your analysis in Excel.
