Hi guys, pretty new to OTRS so apologies if I ask some very basic questions.
There's quite a bit of to and fro-ing between us and the clients on some tickets, often we can have several messages within an hour on the same ticket. While we need autofollowups on to remind the clients to keep referencing the ticket number on responses, it's obviously annoying them when they might get 3-4 autofollowups for each of maybe 2-3 tickets they might have open (in extreme cases).
Is there anyway to say something like "only send an autofollowup if it's the first one for that ticket today" or similar?
I can see a few things that look like they might relate to doing this but can't find enough information on them anywhere to start.

Re: limit number of auto-followups
looks like I can use X-OTRS-LOOP to stop auto responses using a filter...guessing can filter this by whether there is a ticket in the subject (ie. it's a follow up once a ticket is open), which is a good start. Just need to work out the date bit...
