I added a "Closed" state to Ticket::ViewableStateType in Core:Ticket. About an hour later, I noticed that every ticket with the "Closed Successful" now shows up in the Queue and Status views, under the open view.
I have since deleted the "Closed" state, logged out and back in of OTRS, yet all the closed tickets still show up in the open view.

Solved.
After deleting the "Closed" state on Ticket::ViewableStateType in Core:Ticket, and sweating for 3 hours trying this and that to get it fixed, I restarted Apache on our Linux server. The problem resolved itself shortly after.
