Is possible connect OTRS with MAPI protocol?

Hello Everybody!

Please, I need of your expertise. I need to configure email setting in OTRS 2.4.7 with MAPI protocol (Exchange Server). So, anyone know it is possible to do that? and if is positive that, How can I to configure it?

Note:
I can't to use POP, IMAP or any email protocol because it is restricted. I only can use MAPI protocol.

OTRS can retrieve mail via POP3, POP3S, IMAP and IMAPS, not mapi.

Secure pop3s and imaps work securely if setup correctly. The only setups I have done are where the Exchange server has pop3s and imps internally available, not available to the outside.

I suppose you could pull email from your exchange server via mapi

buth then you have to figure out how to get otrs topull the mail you downloaded to the client(evolution), which I don't have an answer for.

2.4.x is outdated
ask the exchange admins to allow POP3s or imaps for the account (if they deny, go to your Boss)
MAPI is not an open standard, so you can not use it

is it possible to forward your exchange emails to your OTRS implementation or another email address (gmail?) that you can pop?
