MIME in automatic messages

Hi,

Its my 3rd day of searching for solution in internet, but still no answer. When sending mails from agents via messages i can add in HTML tags images coded in base 64. New feature, copy- paste image from clipboard work also fine. Everything seems ok.

Problem is, when i try to do the same in auto-response send by system. Like in new ticket notifications to customer, or survey invitation. In OTRS everything looks fine(RichText editor), but customer doesn't get this image.

Any idea whats wrong.

Auto Responses do not support attachments (a picture is an attachment)

I know that auto messages don't support attachments by default, is there any chance to force it? Maybe change something in sources?

this will be a lot of development, so not just changing something...

Your answer made me really sad Ok, time to code. Its really hard to believe, that otrs developers made such a thing. Its possible to paste picture in RichText editor but not to send.

pasting images to the rich text editor is just an Firefox Feature which works with the used CK Editor.
