Update OTRS 3.0.4

Hi

I have OTRS 3.0.4 installed on Debian 5 without any issues at all, but I'm looking to upgrade it to 3.2.x stable version, I'd like to know if the upgrade won't screw up my database, or is there a procedure for the new OTRS to use the old database?

read the UPGRADING file
"Production": OTRS™ 8, OTRS™ 7, STORM powered by OTRS
"Testing": ((OTRS Community Edition)) and git Master
