Hiya again,
We're about to put OTRS live.
There's a few more tweaks we need to do.
One of those is the URL for the customer portal and for the agent portal.
Preferably, we would like to be have the following URL's:
Customer portal: http://helpdesk
Agent portal: http://helpdesk/agent
Now there are a lot of topics addressing the URL's, all with different approaches, some from SysConf, others by editing the Apache configuration files etc.
What is the proper way to achieve this?
Thanks!
URL's - the right way?

Re: URL's - the right way?
There is only the way that accomplishes your goals.
For instance, you can host a redirect file at those points that sends to the otrs-designated locations or you can change apache and host at the original locations.
