Hi,
I use otrs 3.2.10 and is fairly new on this. I installed it yesterday. It work nicely on Debian Squeeze. My intention was to centralize a lot of info we have on other places into otrs. One thing is our FAQ. We have many "Howtos". I wanted to put them into otrs using the FAQ extention. But problem is the areas for symptoms and problems are always showing. Even if they are empty. Are there any way to get otrs to hide those entry areas when they are empty? When viewing the FAQ entry, of course. Them being shown when editing is not a problem at all.
Regards /George

Re: FAQ without symptoms and problems
Hi wurzel,
I have spent some time checking those settings out, but I cant really find what Im looking for... I can choose if a field is public or not thus hiding it at least from public, and I can choose if internal notes are hidden or public. But there does not seem to be a way to hide fields when they are empty and show them when they are not. (Or sett it in the FAQ entry)
It could work to just show one field and write "HowTos" and normal FAQs like that. But it would be great to be able to combine HowTos (one field) and FAQ with the headlines you find in the FAQ module of OTRS.
