Hey,
I got the following set up:
* Organisation with many deparments, strictly separated.
* each deparment has their own set of Queues depending on the hierarchy
A (A@example.net)
-> A1
-> C (C@sub.example.net)
-> C1
-> C2
-> D (D@sub.sub.example.net)
B (B@example.org)
-> B1 (B1@example.org)
-> B1-1
-> B1-2
In most cases, it is not a problem to simply move a Ticket e.g. from A::C::D to B::B1 and back if feedback or reaction is required from B.
But in some cases an issue has a Ticket in A::C::D and and independent Ticket in B::B1. In that case I got the following Problem:
Sending en Email from D@example.net to B@example.org is not possible. It ends up as FollowUp in A::C::D instead of ending up in B.
I know why. But what I want to know: Is there _any_ way to prevent this behaviour from happening so that you actually can send email from an email hosted as OTRS Queue to another email address hosted in the same OTRS instance as Queue?
Thanks a lot in advance for tips on how I could solve this problem because moving the ticket from Queue A::C::D to B is not an option at all in some cases ( for privacy, information and other legal reasons).
