[SOLVED] - Customer Ticket - Template Dropdown Selection

Hi,

I was watching a video on how to create a button to show a template in the CustomerTicketMessage.dtl (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1B8mZ9Ku_bA). I have managed to do this, however what I actually want is slightly different. 2 things specifically:

1. The ability to link to an actual OTRS template created in the GUI. Is this possible? At the moment I have to link to a form in the .dtl but I have no idea how to format this how I want.
2. Instead of a button, to be able to choose the template through a dropdown menu, and depending on which item was chosen, would show a different OTRS template for the customer.

I am fairly new to OTRS so I really would appreciate a bit of help on this.

At the end of the *dtl isn't there a commented example of how to use the template?

I think the addon "KIX4OTRS" features what you are looking for: Templates via web-GUI and a dropdown for these templates.
