I would like to use git to transfer an OTRS beta system to the OTRS production system. I know there are going to be some issues due to some things such as Process Management entity IDs saved in the database and customized code. My OTRS beta and OTRS production systems are on two separate virtual machines. Is there a recommended way to use git or another version control system that will take into account all or most of the issues?
