Hi all,
I'm fairly new to OTRS and I'm just wondering if there is any way to make a postmaster filter that would match an incoming email ticket to a customer user based on the first half of their email.
We are using an LDAP server to authenticate users and get customerID information, and most of the time it attaches each ticket to the right customer, but our issue is that we have multiple domains for our emails (i.e. test@example1.com and test@example2.com), and sometimes customers will send a ticket from an email with a different ending. The first half of every email is consistent throughout, so I was wondering if we could somehow filter based off of that to match it with a customer user in our database. So if we received a ticket from test@example1.com, but test@example2.com was the customerID in our database, the ticket would be attributed to test@example2 instead of creating a new customer.
Thanks
