IMAP/IMAPTLS doesnot work anymore

Hi

Microsoft has stopped the support of basic authentication.
We wwre using IMAPTLS to fetch emails which is not possible now. Tickets from emails cant b created anymore. We are stuck as other listed protocols of imap/pop are also not suported to fetch emails from office 365.

I would appreciate a quick help to fix this issue.
I m using otrs 5.

You need to upgrade to a version of OTRS or a fork which supports OAuth2 for inbound mail. OTRS 5 is out of support since several years

Is oAuth2 supported in OTRS 6?

I read the documentation of OTRS 6, but the email protocols are same as of OTRS 5.

OTRS 6 is also out of support since more than 2 years and has known vulnerabilities. Therefore it also des not support OAuth2

Okay. It means we have to move to commerical version i.e. OTRS 8?

Hi,

You have to update to Znuny 6.4, which offers OAuth2 authentication. The migration goes from 5.0 => 6.0 => 6.1 => 6.2 => 6.3 => 6.4.

Is OTRS and Znuny are the same?
Otrs 6.4 is same as Znuny 6.4?
I am little confused about Znuny( as a fork of otrs) ?
