Our ticket number and id are different by 1 for some reason. Is there any way to safely fix this?
The reason I ask is that we are about to roll the ticketing system out to other departments, and it might cause confusion. If not, than we will just tell them to live with it. I don't care if it just affects old tickets.
MariaDB [znuny]> SELECT id, tn FROM ticket WHERE id = 72551;
+-------+--------+
| id | tn |
+-------+--------+
| 72551 | 072550 |

Re: Ticket ID and Ticket Number Mismatch
Hi,
ticket id != ticket number.
the id is auto increment from SQL, ticket number is generated. In my system it looks like this
As you can delete a ticket it might be different in all databases. Live with it
