Hi
We are using OTRS 2.4.7 and has implemented several different status:
Open - when ticket still need to be responded by us
Closed - ticket closed
With Client - awaiting for response from client
We are trying to do the following:
1. Be able to run report how long the tickets been with Client status throughout its lifetime
2. Be able to close and alert the client after X months if no response the call automatically closed.
I am not sure how to do the 1st one but the second one, do I need to change the With Client state to use Pending Auto type? But is there a way for the system to remind the client that the status is With Client every week for example? And then automatically send an email when its closed by the system?

For number 2: try with Generic agent.
