Filter a Queue from the statistics and dashboard chart

Post by spammeatwill »

Is it possible to filter the tickets that go to a particular Queue from affecting the statistics and charts?
I have thousands of emails from alert systems (monit) which create thousands of tickets, thus my "open tickets" is always very high!
I would like to filter that from the statistics, but I still want to have the chance to look at them.

Thank you!

Maybe create a Queue for those type of tickets and don't put that under "my queues"?

Hello crythias,

Thank you for replying.
I have moved the Monit Queue to the top and confirmed that it s not selected in my queues.
However, it still apears when I go to ticket area and the 7-day chart is still computed considering those tickets.

Thanks

The Chart is using your rw permissions

The option to exclude some queues from the dashboard would come pretty handy.

I found a bug report that corresponds to the problem and added an enhancement request: http://bugs.otrs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4092

Hi All, I know this issue is reported a long time ago but i'm running into a similiar issue.

We have a monitoring queue with several subqueues. I created a special state called "monitoring" so we can filter this easily in reports.
Next to that we do also have some mailfilters that automatically move emails to the Junk folder. This junk folder is deleted every night.

But the 7 day's stats show still the number of created ticket for both queues in the graph.
It doesn't make a difference to unselect the Myqueue's

I looked at the bugreport, but that didn't help me further

Appreciate the help or sugestions

I never managed to solve the problem, I worked around it by stopping sending monit events to otrs... no one was reading them anyway.
