Setup OTRS email Notifications

Hello,

I hope someone can help me with my problem I am experiencing with OTRS email notifications.

I've upgraded my OTRS System from a SuSE machine to Windows Server machine.

The SuSE box had OTRS 2.2 on it and I have just upgraded it to 2.4 on the Windows server 2003.

I didn’t install the OTRS 2.2 so I don’t know how the guys setup the mail on it.

Could someone please give me anything that I can try to make it work.

I've looked through allot of the config files in both systems to see if there might be anything that needs changing but the only thing I could find was that in the Config.pm file on the Linux box it had a FQDN specified that the SMTP.pm file refers to. I've made those changes to the Windows Config.pm file but it didn’t make any difference.

The windows server doesn’t have a FW if that makes a difference..

The logs (C:\OTRS\OTRS\var\log otrs.log) say that the email got sent to the respective recipient but no notification was received.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
