All files are opened in an ASCII format .How to solve ???

Friends
We are using OTRS( windows version) 2.4.9 + ITSM 2.0.2 with IIS server . While i am attaching a .doc file any where in the application like FAQ attachments,ITSM change attachment it is attached normally BUT when i want to open the same file by double clicking it then asking for FileConversion and file is opened in an ASCII format as the below image . I
Our team feel this may be the issue with MIME types how to set them
