Can't send email

Hi,

I've been trying to install and set up OTRS on a trial basis before we go ahead and deploy it for our organization. Almost everything is set up and working nicely except email.

We are using Google Apps ... so our POP server is pop.gmail.com and SMTP server is smtp.gmail.com

Whenever I try to send a mail I get the following error

Got no SendmailObject! at C:/WEBSER~1/OTRS//Kernel/System/Ticket/Event/NotificationEvent.pm line 35.
For help, please send mail to the webmaster (postmaster@localhost), giving this error message and the time and date of the error.

Any help would be appreciated.
