SOLVED-Ticket Reply email error

Hello-

When I reply to a ticket in the system, the reply page takes about 3-4 minutes to load and then throws an error stating the email address in the "To" field is not valid, The field populates in the form '

Code: Select all

firstname lastname <user@domain.com>
'.

Error reads :

Code: Select all

Need a valid email address or don't use a local address.
The email is valid, since it was sent from a remote host and our users are authenticated through AD. When the original ticket is generated it gets sent to our external, company email as well as to the 'Raw' queue, which leads me to believe I am missing something in the configuration.

Any help is appreciated.

Turn off mx record checking.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

I mis-typed the name of the DNS server. I transposed a couple letters.

Jokes on me.
