Configuration ITSMIncidentProblemManagement

Post by zouheir001 »

hello,
I installed OTRS version 3.0.2 on Windows XP with all modules:
ITSMChangeManagement
ITSMConfigurationManagement
ITSMIncidentProblemManagement
ITSMServiceLevelManagement

After installing all modules are accessible and visible at the menu except the modules: Incident Management and Problem Management.
A special configuration of these two modules is required?
I do not know what's the problem?
Thank you for your help.

The modules for incident and problem management extend the normal ticket handling, so you won't find separate menu items for this. Please compare your system GUI to the ITSM demo, so you know if something is missing :

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.

How can I configure the tickets for incidents and problems ?

When I create a ticket, I found only two types: Rfc and default.
I accessed the link you sent me to compare my Administrator tab with administraeur tab of the demo, but unfortunately the entry tab administrator access is not available in the demo.

Thank you for your help.

After the installation there should be more than only two ticket types. Please make sure that you installed the base ITSM packages "GeneralCatalog" and "ITSM Core".

If all fails please try if uninstalling the modules and instead installing the complete bundle package helps. Of course only try this if you don't have any productive ITSM data yet.
