I have just upgraded my Windows installation of OTRS. Now using 3.3.7. Weird problem I had was the crontab.txt wasn't populated with any jobs so I populated it from my backup file but after that it worked a treat. Upgraded again to 3.3 and now works. Must be the installer for 3.2 which has a bug.

I fixed this issue by running package manager from command line and uninstalling the packages I had installed. It then worked fine in the browser

I could run it from the command line and tried to reinstall from there. It said they were reinstalled but there were package files missing. In the end I tried to then upgrade again to 3.3 and had other errors so have reverted back to 3.1.16 for now. Would be good to find someone else who has upgrade...

Not sure that helps me a great deal!! The timeout comes after quite a while of trying to load the package manager yet everything else seems fine. I have monitored our firewall to see if any outgoing traffic is being blocked which it isn't so it is an internal server problem. I would love to fix the ...

looking at other posts would this be a problem with the MyISAM engine being used instead of InnoDB?
I have never purposely changed any of these settings so assume I am OK to just run the otrs.MySQLInnoDBSwitch.pl?? Not really sure what it does!!

Just found the issue.
Even though in my config file I had commented out the parts about only users being members of a group when looking at the config setting within OTRS itself, it had this section ticked. I unticked it and it works. Perhaps a bug.

another update! If the user clicks on the icon in the top left hand corner which represents a head and shoulders icon they get their locked tickets and it displays all of them.
The problem seems to be with the dashboard widget which doesn't show all locked tickets

If I open status view the ticket is locked to that person but in that person's dashboard their locked tickets remain empty

Doesn't matter how long it has been, it doesn't change it so it isn't a caching problem. We are using the same queue but I wanted to assign tickets to agents in the same queue as me so it disappears out of the main queue and in to their locked ticket area.

was then about to update my post. Yes if I assign a ticket to someone, it does lock it to them but it stays in the queue and doesn't move to their "locked tickets" section.
If they reply to a ticket or do anything else to it, it does move successfully though

Assign ticket - lock to owner
When I assign a ticket to an agent, they get notified and the owner changes. It doesn't lock the ticket to that user though so it doesn't appear in their locked tickets section.
Where do I change it so if I assign a ticket to someone, it not only changes the owner, it locks it for them too?

Patching OTRS 3.1.1
We are running OTRS 3.1.1 on Windows Server 2008 R2. How do I just patch it to 3.1.10?
From what I can find I can only download the full installation. Is it just a case of running the full install to allow it to patch (worried it will override my settings).

Currently the latest iPhoneHandle (1.0.3) does not work with my version of OTRS (3.1.1). It works with 3.0 so does anyone know when an updated iPhoneHandle will be available?
