I've developed a CAS support (Jasig) module for OTRS. It requires patching three OTRS files (Kernel/System/Web/InterfaceAgent,InterfaceCustomer,Request) besides a new Authentication backend.

What would be the best way to do that?

I know I could just include the files, but using a patch ...

Para registrar, desliguei o CheckMXRecord e resolveu, aparentemente.

Just as a feedback, I've turned off CheckMXRecord and it seems to have solved so far.

Regarding DNS, could you elaborate? Since it hangs eventually (not all the time) the DNS is working.
Regarding top, nothing strange - no process has high CPU usage or is in zombie state when this happens.
About SMTP, could you elaborate?

we have an OTRS installation (version 3.3.5) running on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and Apache 2.2.22. Usually once a day (sometime more than that) it stops sending e-mails - for example, when an agent replies a ticket, it hangs and never comes back.

To solve it we have to restart the apache server ...

Correto - não aparece nenhum erro. É como se o processo ficasse travado. No caso de um usuário abrindo um novo ticket fica a tela branca sem retorno. No caso de um atendente respondendo, a tela fica parada "ad eternum".

o de erros do apache (/var/log/apache2/error.log) e o syslog, para onde o OTRS envia os logs dele.

alguém já passou pelo seguinte problema: o OTRS de uma hora para a outra para de enviar e-mails (ao criar um novo chamado, a tela fica em branco no final mas o chamado é criado - só não envia o e-mail).

while upgrading our OTRS from 3.1 to 3.3 we have faced an issue with the FAQ module with the Chrome browser: it would load the whole page inside the sections of the FAQ (in PublicFAQZoom and CustomerFAQZoom) instead of just the text.
