i found the file, followed all the steps as stated for the ubuntu version of it. However I am stuck with this error which says,
Error in chown 999 33 otrs.conf : Not a directory!
Do you know what mite be the issue with it.

I have been installing OTRS on a linux server . I have been following the steps that I have pasted below.
Sorry for amking it a long code...

My last step is to setup email so that agents can assign and receive emails.
Could we do an exchange setup? I mean because everyone uses microsoft outlook.

So when I am setting up OTRS on windows side I want to run it on a domain. and each time i enter my domain(which is not localhost!) I get an error saying cannot connect to the database!
what can be done about this ...
