Well it still is at the default value of "1", allthough I am not using the postmaster login (although it has NOT been deactivated).
Should I change it to my own UID, as I am using my own account as admin.
Saying that unless I am mistaken, this would cause more harm than good.
thnx

Re: Error message from cron when ever emails are picked up
Hi there,
I have created the Customers, but whenever an email is picked up by otrs (checking every ten minutes), I receive an email (besides the confirmation that the ticket was received and sorted into the relevant queue) stating "Message: Need UserLogin or UserID!" (as stated in my initial post ...

Re: Error message from cron when ever emails are picked up
Do you mean, I have to define the senders explicetly as customers?
The senders of emails in our scenario are typically agents.
Occasionally it happens that someone has our "nettracker" address on see due to a "reply to all"
I have defined a separate filter to catch those emails and place them into ...

Error message from cron when ever emails are picked up
Hello everyone,
I have run into a peculiar issue.
In our setup members of the team send emails to otrs and this then takes and places them (by using the GenericAgent) into their respective queues.
The idea is to track the little tasks that come in via email, phone, and/or satr (shout across the ...

Re: OTRS 3.3.4 change of file permissions after update
Ok,
As promised, I have tested it and the solution of just adding otrs to the apache group works.
It doesn't quite explain why the ownership keeps on changing, but at least the system is running and does what is expected of it.
I do have another issue but I will start a new stread for this
thnx ...
