I've got a similar issue, but mine is that the subject line contains the tickets number twice
[Ticket#8900005] *Subject* Reference #8900005
I don't think I've made this change as it's quite an obvious error, I would prefer to keep the [Ticket#xxxxxx] but if I can't get rid of the Reference ...
