Re: Find out why tickets are merged

I found these settings somewhere as shown in the pictures. It recognises a number in the ticket and should merge it into the right ticket with the same number in it. But it randomly assigns it to other tickets, but not always. That's so odd, and I can't find a log file about it.
Thanks for your help

Hey, thanks for your answer!
Sorry, for the late response. Do you have an idea which module I have to activate and how?

Find out why tickets are merged

Hi all,

I'm using a filter to merge ticket with external references. That works often good, but sometimes it merges incoming mails for in my eyes no reason to wrong tickets. Is there a log file, where I can check why tickets are merged or why new emails are referred to a ticket?
Thanks,
Robin

Wrong customer name in notification email

Hi all,

If a ticket gets created or a customer answers on a ticket I always get a wrong customer name, it always says "otrs@system.com (my otrs email address) wrote: "

I checked the notification options and it's set <OTRS_CUSTOMER_REALNAME>

Any ideas?

Thanks

How to update from 5.0.5 to 5.0.6

Hello,
there is a new update to OTRS 5.0.6. I'm on 5.0.5 and in the Release Notes are just a few tips, what you have to be aware of, no real update procedure. Has any one done it yet and would be so kind to share?
Thanks

Re: Error Mail Cron and MySQL

Well, after dropping my database and rerunning the installer, everything works fine again. There was an issue in the database, I guess. I tried a lot I have to say, maybe it's better to clear this testing database and start a new one for production.
Thanks crytias

Re: Error Mail Cron and MySQL

Hello crythias, thanks for your help. I checked the PostmasterUserID in sysconfig it's "1". I also checked the database and my OTRS Admin has the userID 1. The new created ticket, when a new email gets in, seems to get the TicketID "no such Ticket" - which makes no sense... And t...

Error Mail Cron and MySQL

Hello all, I used your forum for a lot issues, it's great. But now there is a problem I can't find here. When there is a new ticket created, I get an error mail. Everything seems to work fine, I mean tickets get created and notifications are sent, but I learned a thing: never ignore warnings. I thin...
