As it is an Exchange server issue, it must be fixed on Exchange server.

Responses template: add a To: email address field
Hi Guys,
Does somebody have an idea how to implement this:
An agent should send a ticket reply to the sender of an email (the To: field will be filled automatically with the correct address) and a CC to some fixed email addresses.
The problem is that there are sometimes up to 20 addresses and it ...

Re: Can't send message: 354Start mail input
I can confirm, changing of the "MaxAcknowledgementDelay" attribute fixed the issue for me too.
Since two months after chaning the attribute, no more "Can't send message: 354Start mail input" issues in OTRS.
BIG thanks to darktrooper1991!

Re: Can't send message: 354Start mail input
Since one week we do not have the error any more!
According to OTRS support, the issue may be caused by a difference in MTU settings on Mail server and OTRS server.
Here you can find a good description about how to check whether there is a difference in MTU settings: http://blogging.nitecruzr.net ...

Re: Ticket locked by Admin OTRS
No code was changed.
Sysconfig has been modified, but the changes are the same what everybody doing - SMTP and POP3 configuration, system FQDN and so on. Nothing special.
This seems to be a bug in OTRS. Am I the first one who reported the issue?
How can I report a bug?

Re: Ticket locked by Admin OTRS
We had today again the same issue. The ticket history looks like this (see screenshot attached).
There is a "Lock" action happened on 02/01/2012, but there is no related "OwnerUpdate" action to the same date and time.
The next "OwnerUpdate" action happened on 02/14/2012 and this was a manual owner ...

Re: Ticket locked by Admin OTRS
a) OTRS version: 3.0.11
b) The ticket history only contains two lines: the customer's email and an auto-reply from OTRS system.
c) We are not using any filters.

Ticket locked by Admin OTRS
Sometimes when a new ticket is created, it will be automatically locked by "root@localhost(Admin OTRS)". Nobody can see and handle the ticket until the ticket owner will be changed manually.
I know that "root@localhost(Admin OTRS)" is a default owner of all new tickets, but in our case is really ...

Re: Can't send message: 354Start mail input
Sorry for being unclear.
As emails will be sent correctly, it is not necessary to resend them.
OTRS only must stop showing of errors in case of delay in sending.
If I understand correctly, OTRS doesn't send emails, but only uses Exchange server for sending.
I suppose, if a delay occur, the Exchange ...

Re: Can't send message: 354Start mail input
If OTRS system shows this error, emails will be sent as I wrote initially, but according to Exchange logs, emails will be sent with delay (up to 5 minutes).
The problem is that OTRS system handles this delay as an error and shows this error to users.
Is it possible to stop displaying of this error ...

Can't send message: 354Start mail input
Hello,
Sometimes OTRS shows an error message on sending of emails.
Emails will be sent, but errors are frustrating, because users are never sure whether an email has been sent or not.
The problem occurs since upgrading of MS Exchange server from Exchange 2007 to 2010.
OTRS version 3.0.11
