I banged around with Ubuntu using the package installer and downloaded it from the repositories. The problem is with the debian install. The apache user is differnent www-data or something like that, and the file structure is also different. I ended up installing appache and my-sql from the reposit...

Backing up OTRS
We saw the scripts in the documentation.
However, we we looking at a other solutions to back up the entire box. We are running Fedora 12 on a vmWare virtual box with vmWare Essentials.
