Thank you. We are currently working with a client on installing OTRS with the ITSM modules. Should they want a manual created, I may be able to share some of what has been created after we are done.

User Manual

Does anyone know if a User Manual exists? I am aware of the Admin Manuals on but they do not detail how to use the system (as you may tell from some of my very generic "how to" posts.

Any help would be appreciated.

Change Template Creation

Hello

I have a problem as I cannot find how to create a Change Template. I have looked everywhere I think and I cannot find how to do this. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Update Existing Ticket via Email

Hello all,

I was wondering if it is possible to update an existing ticket via email. Can the system be setup to review emails and if see a particular subject or variables within a subject line or other places to know to update an existing ticket instead of creating a new one?

Adding Custom Fields

I am looking for a way to add custom fields to the ticket screen. Can anyone add some insight on how this can be done?

Also, has anyone found a way to add a subject tree or categorization to these tickets?
