Do you have a dedicated host? IMHO, Most hosting providers won't work with OTRS unless they allow background processes. Most require you to have a dedicated host for that sort of thing. I switched to a VPS provider and did a fresh install of 3.1.1 from an SSH shell. Worked like a charm! Now to do th...

We do not always know the email address of the customer. What ill effects would I be in for by not making the email field mandatory?
