LDAP user authentication failed
Hi, we have OTRS::ITSM 3.0.4 with Active Directoryt as a source for customers. Everything was working fine until recently. Some of the customers were not able to log on to the system, as if they had wrong username or password. I am sure that this was not the case, both username and password was corr...

OTRS plugins installation
Hi, I would like to have the time of last update of the ticket displayed on the dashboard. I've found following link: http://opar.perl-services.de/bin/index.cgi/package/T/TI/TISAR/MyHammerQueueViewByCustCont , which should presumably do exactly what I need. However, as it comes as the Perl package (...

Re: Free text fields
You got to enable Freetexts in every single mask - Ticket::Frontend::AgentTicketCompose###TicketFreeText for example and so on. Greets Daniel Thanks a lot, the problem is I don't seem to be able to identify all the masks I need to change (what I do is that I search for FreeText in SysConfig, which ...

Free text fields
Hi, I am struggling to set up new freetext field in the ticket. I have defined the keys and contents in Core::TicketFreeText. I assume that I need to set Frontend::Agent::ViewFreeText and Frontend::Customer::Ticket::View* accordingly, but just can't see any relevant values. Excuse my ignorance if I ...

ticket states
Hi guys, the ticket states seem to be a bit confusing to me. As I see, when ticket comes from customer it comes as 'new'. When it's created by the agent it is 'open'. So far it makes sense. However if I start working on any new ticket (assign it to agent, add a note..) I would expect it to come to t...

Re: Company tickets
Thanks a lot guys,
actually for a time being I just assigned ther same ID to all customers.
This is working fine for my purposes, but will definitely have a look at customer groups as well.

Company tickets
Hi all Is there any other way to allow users to see all other users tickets than using muliple IDs feature for customer accounts? I mean, we have around 500 users in the system and if that would mean to add 500 IDs for every one of them it seems rather cumbersome to me. Thanks for any suggestions. J...

Re: POP3 Auth failed
Thanks jojo, but the credentials are right.
In fact, I found out that the Exchange is using x.509 certificate for both IMAP and POP3 and that's probably where my problem lies.
Is there a way to make OTRS connect to Exchange with this certificate?

POP3 Auth failed
Hi all, I am trying to connect OTRS (3.0.6 on XP) with our Exchange server. The system is sending messages out, but when I try to connect to PostMaster mail account and fetch mail from there, I'll get message saying: 'POP3S: Auth for user user@company.xy failed!' I am pretty sure that I've got all c...

FAQ module
Hi all,
is faq module part of the standard installation, or does that need to be installed separately? If so, where can I obtain it?
I was looking on relevant articles in OTRS documentation, but it didn't shed much light on the matter.
Will be grateful for any response.
Thanks
Jaromir

no SASL mechanism found
Hi all, I am using OTRS 3.0.4 installed on WXP. I am trying to connect it to our Exchange server, however, everytime I try to send admin notification I'll get this error message: No SASL mechanism found at C:/PROGRA~1/OTRS/OTRS/Kernel/cpan-lib/Authen/SASL.pm line 77 at C:/Program Files/OTRS/Strawber...
