The browser you are using is too old.

Post by Steve66 »

I am currently running OTRS 4.0.6 and when using my IE version 11.0.9600, which should be a good version of IE to use with OTRS, i am getting this error message.

I have looked in the logs var/log/httpd/error_log and can't find any errors to accessing the site with this browser.

Is there an option to turn this check off or is there a better way to resolve this?

Well, now my Firefox browser is getting the same error when running 46.0.1.

I am unable to log into OTRS via the customer.pl page due to this browser version error I am getting.

check your diskspace and or permissions in the /opt/otrs folder
"Production": OTRS™ 8, OTRS™ 7, STORM powered by OTRS
"Testing": ((OTRS Community Edition)) and git Master

I did have a disk space issue but it was cleared out and I am sitting at 55% disk utilization. I even restarted the MySQL and Apache server just to make sure we dropped all old file handles that may of been there from before and start it up clean. I am still getting the error...

I was able to edit the CustomerLogin.tt file to remove the disabled portion of the HTML to allow use of the customer site, but the error is still occurring and all java scripts are not being executed.

did you deleted the OTRS Cache and Loader Cache after your disk issue? There is no need to alter any of the OTRS files!

A little googling found the answers.

From /opt/otrs/bin
I ran:
otrs.CleanUp.pl
otrs.DeleteCache.pl
otrs.DeleteSessionIDs.pl

I am still being prompted with the browser error.
