Hello,
this has been asked multiple times, but I only found solutions for OTRS 4 or lower.
I want to show the owner for the open tickets in the overview panel
Is there just an option in OTRS 5 or do I need to adapt teh code?

Don´t worry, at the begining we all have these kind of questions.
OK about your problem: The owner must be shown by default in the Status view.
But if you don´t have it try this:
1. Admin
2. Sys Config.
3. Search ticket.
4. Find Frontend::Agent::Ticket::ViewStatus
5. There you will see Ticket::Frontend::AgentTicketStatusView###DefaultColumns.
6. Edit them and update.
That should work. I hope this could help you.
