I didn't find it in the documentation or on the forum.
Can we search for a empty (not filled) fields?
We are using the ITSM CMDB. "null" etc. didn't work.
I suppose that "empty" means there is no xml_content_key at all the database to look at, so a search for a 'empty' value is useless.
But I am not sure. Can anyone shine a light on this?

Re: Search for empty field
how unfortunate this has not been answered.
I have been wondering the same for some time, and ran into a situation again we really need to be able to do this.

Re: Search for empty field
We had the same issue, but for services. All tickets need to have a service, but agents forget to set this for tickets made via email. We could force the service field as mandatory on every pop window where you can close it but this was judged 'too annoying'. Teamleads would rather search for the empty service field and coach the agent. But you can't search for empty fields so.. workaround time:
We added a postmaster filter that is set first alphabetically that sets the service "No service" for all tickets.. But we don't link it to the 'Default services', so if an agents opens TicketPriority the dropdown is blank. And the teamleads can search for the "No service".
Perhaps something similar can be done in your case?
