[Resolved]Help needed: Displaying date format to dd/mm/yyyy

Post by chetannagaonkar »

Hello All,

I had presumed that setting the date/time format of the user would change the date/format display in OTRS too. I realized that its not so. I know it may sound a dumb question. I couldn't see the format option in Core:Time. Does anybody know where to set the date format option so that it is displayed as dd/mm/yyyy in OTRS pls?

Best Regards
Chetan

this is done via the translation files
"Production": OTRS™ 8, OTRS™ 7, STORM powered by OTRS
"Testing": ((OTRS Community Edition)) and git Master

Thanks for the quick response, jojo. I have not used translation files earlier. If you can throw some light on this (which file/directory), I'll try it out. Your help would be highly appreciated.
