Hi,
I'm still new with OTRS and currently implementing it inside my company. Currently I'm using OTRS v3. Somehow I manage to get the process right, but I'm still having a problem in displaying the ticket Age in the statistics as Days and Hours. It only display as digit that's not clearly describe. The management team require this to be display in Days and Hours format for each of the ticket closed. How do I do that. Appreciate any assist on this.

Does anyone knows how the Age in the statistics calculated?

In statistics, I believe age is shown as seconds. So you need to export data to excel and do some simple math to get days / hours.

I am confused by the age of the ticket as well. I have tickets that are open and closed within a longer period of time then some tickets that have a higher age. For example:
Ticket Created: 4/28/2011 10:53
Ticket Closed: 4/28/2011 11:39
Age: 350345
Another ticket..
Ticket Created: 4/16/2011 15:40
Ticket Closed: 4/16/2011 15:41
Age: 1456334
So I ran a report and included age to my supervisor and he is asking what is the Age column referencing? I will not include this column in the future, but just wanted to figure out what it is calculating. Thank you.

I have the same problem by creating a stats related to the Average Solution Time. I don't understand how the system calculate the time between the creation time and the closed time.
