Can you describe more detailed what you try to achieve? What is reply mode? And what do you mean with "open attachment"?
Do you mean "download an attachment from the ticket while a pop up for that ticket is open"? IIRC newer versions (OTRS > 3.2.x) of OTRS can handle that by default, in older OTRS versions you have to open the ticket in an other window/tab.
Do you mean "add existing ticket attachment in reply"? Download the attachment and upload it in the reply.

Hi, I have the same question, I want to open "agent attachments" through customer portal. These attachment have been included by agent when he has answered the ticket.
