Hi Folks,
I have issue with OTRS version 6 which is running on ubuntu 16.04.
OTRS didn't fetch the mail properly whenever i tried to fetch the mail it through below error
" OTRS-otrs.Console.pl-Maint::PostMaster::MailAccountFetch-77[5799]: [Error][Kernel::System::Daemon::DaemonModules::BaseTaskWorker::_HandleError][Line:52]: There was an error executing Execute() in Kernel::System::Console::Command::Maint::PostMaster::MailAccountFetch: Error: Timeout of 600 seconds reached, killing child process!"
I tried below steps:
Tried to reconfigure fetchmail:bin not success
Tried to add new param in Daemon: "ArtticlIndex rebuild" add new param "--force-pid" 3.Restart the server from remote console
How to fix this issue? please guide me on this.

Re: OTRS 6 fetchmail issue
Hi,
did it work before?
Do not use fetchmail or configure it properly.
I recommend procmail

Re: OTRS 6 fetchmail issue
Hello wurzel,
It is a production server which is currently operational.
I have a question about fetchmail files.
I checked the server, but there were no fetchmail files in /usr/bin.
Is this the cause of the problem?
If this is the case,
How do I retrieve a file from the /usr/bin directory?
I made no changes to OTRS running before itself..
The problem appeared after restarting Daemon..
When I click fetchmail from the mail account management list, it displays "Email account retrieval has already been performed by another process.
Please retry later!"
Your response is extremely valuable.
Regards,
DivyaP

Re: OTRS 6 fetchmail issue
No, as you are using the build in functionality to retrieve mails and not fetchmail (which would be a seperate setup, not mainained within OTRS)
For your main issue I would suggest to check the logs of the mailserver

Hi,
This looks like no connection to the target server ion the IMAP port could be made. Reasons could be outbound firewall, inbound firewall on target server, rate limit at target server, etc.
