Win-2k8R2 Acrive Directory and LDAP

Post by mafiset »

I know there are some posts about this feature but I cannot find bug.

I am able to authenticate the Customer but I get the "Authentication succeeded, but no customer record is found in the customer backend. Please contact your administrator".

If I look the the System Log ... "Need UserLogin!"
And the Customer User Management : List ... there are multiple columns and rows ...but all empty.

What I would like to do is let Customer users login the OTRS through the matching credentials from the AD (through LDAP).
But without creating each users first on OTRS Customer-User list ?

SystemLog :
No such user 'fisetm'!
CustomerUser: fisetm (CN=FISETM,OU=ADM-RESEAU,DC=mohl,DC=hline,DC=com) authentication ok (REMOTE_ADDR: 192.168.112.30).
Thanks

Re: Win-2k8R2 Acrive Directory and LDAP

Post by mafiset »

Okay.
Now I get some of it ...
I've decided to reinstall OTRS from scratch. From there I did load te same Config.pm to the fresh install ... guess what .. all users are populaing in the Customer .. and all users are able to login.

I guess that the database was not accessible (or RO) after build ...

Nothing wrong with the file, just a bad process from I.

Thanks for your help

1) Somehow CustomerAuth::DB::Auth is valid (probably from SysConfig)
2) CustomerUser information (for whatever reason) wasn't trying LDAP.

Glad you got it worked out.
