Hi
One of my customer claimed that there is no search result when using search funcionality....I've checked and can not find anything too. I tried to use Subcject or Text fields but without any reasults, even when using guidelines like Fulltext search in tickets (e. g. "John*n" or "Will*")
Is there any trick I have to use to get proper search result please? Can someone help me?
I can not find anything about this in forum posts, so I ask you...

Re: Cusomer can not search tickets - no results
The customer will not get search results if the customer has no permissions to tickets.
This is likely because the ticket is assigned to an email address as login and customerID and the customer is logged in searching for tickets with permission of logged in customer login and logged in customer id.
Check who's the customer on the agent side for relevant tickets.

Hi
it is strange to me because customer can see all ticket by clicking on My Tickets or All Tickets...the problem is when there are hundreds of tickets and searching is needed.
The same customer who creates the ticket is not able to find it using 'Search" tab.... so that means has no permission to own tickets?

It might be fixed updating to 3.1.latest, but System Log might have other information on search. https://github.com/OTRS/otrs/blob/rel-3_1/CHANGES

I've found interesting thing....searching for any records returns no results...but if you click on TICKET # label of column results are displayed! Pretty strange but it works!
