Adding email id's to the address book

I am new to the OTRS technology, please let me know the procedure for adding email-id's to the Address Book. I am using OTRS 3.2.8 version.

we're not sure what you mean. The address book is comprised of your customers. If you need a specific email added, create or modify a customer.

Hi Crythias,
To elaborate my problem, there is an existing address book by the name SCM OTRS and there is a list of email-ids which need to be added to it. So I am clueless how to get the existing address book, so that i can add the new id's to its list. I hope I made the question clear. I appreciate your patience in understanding my query.

We may simply be talking past each other at this point. Now that I know the name of the address book I still don't have any additional information on how to solve your problem than that which I've already provided.

Thanks Crythias, I got the point you were making. And this is working now.

Can we use a .csv or .xls format to create bulk of customers. If it is possible, please let me know
