Hi,
I have installed OTRS 3.3.8 on Windows 2012 R2 with ActivePerl-5.16.3.1603-MSWin32-x86-296746. After set-up and installation, I can access the /index.pl or /customer.pl. When I enter my logins from the installation i.e. root@localhost and the provided password, I am redirected back to the same page. My log file shows: [Kernel::System::Auth::DB::Auth] User: root@localhost authentication ok (Method: sha256, REMOTE_ADDR: ::1).
Kindly assist.

OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

Thanks...actually did work. But could this also be related to the fact that I cannot reset my passwords too from the front-end using the forgot password option??? The error I get is:
500 - Internal server error.

The 500 error is a generic one. You should have a look at the webservers' error log.
