FAQ access restriction
Using the FAQ state we can determine the interface(s), in which an FAQ article should be displayed. Can we increase this to one more step down? For example if FAQ state is external, it is visible to all customers. What if I want it to be visble to Customer 'A' only and not to other customers.......? Any ideas how to do that?

If you *must*, then enable Customer Group Membership, etc.

Re: FAQ access restriction
Will it solve my problem? I have made different Faq's without some private information. Lets say I have 10 Faq's and 3 customers. I want Customer 'A' to see only Faq 1,2,3,4...,, Customer 'B' to see only Faq 5,6 and Customer 'C' to be able to access only 7,8,9,10..... ...... See the attached file pleasecrythias wrote:If you *must*, then enable Customer Group Membership, etc.

Re: FAQ access restriction
No it will not help you. Use something else (groupware) to provide access.

Re: FAQ access restriction
you mean TeamWox groupware system?
If yes, then i cant. I have to stay with OTRS and do this as well. Either I should be able to share FAQ's with specific customers, or if itis not possible then i sould be able to share CMDB inverntory with Customers but with restricted access.
Any idea or suggestion pleasE?

I mean any other system that provides logins and customized pages.malikKhan91 wrote:you mean TeamWox groupware system?
I don't have additional suggestions within OTRS. Secure information for a customer is something the Agents should have. They may be able to copy from Agent FAQ to a ticket reply for a customer.malikKhan91 wrote:Either I should be able to share FAQ's with specific customers, or if itis not possible then i sould be able to share CMDB inverntory with Customers but with restricted access.
