Copy OTRS to new virtual machine [SOLVED]

Post by dstover »

Hello. I have made a tarred copy of my current OTRS virtual machine (I am using Xen virtual machine software) and have created another virtual machine with it. The IPs and host names have been changed and everything started up fine. But now I am getting a 500 error whenever I try to log in. I have tried deleting caches and rebuilding configurations, also rebooting the system. I have also changed the host name in the Config.pm file. Is there something I am not aware of that will bite me in this situation?

Any info would be appreciated. Please let me know any documentation you might need.

Thanks in advance...Dan.

I looked at all the logs and did not find anything. I finally figured out that the ZZZAuto.pm file in Kernel/COnfig/Files was corrupted. I copied over the old one from the previous system, set a few SysConfig options and it worked!

Have a nice day...Dan.
