Hi!
I have a few question about Add-Ons.
Am I right if I claim that there are four different kinds of OTRS Help desk I can get:
The free vesion, Basic, Professional and Enterprise?
Are the features found at https://www.otrs.com/software/otrs-feature-add-ons/ free to install for use in the free version?
Reading about the OTRS Service Contracts I found "Note that Service Contract customers can get exclusive access to additional features and OTRS Feature Add-Ons free of charge plus receive free upgrades for all of them during a current major release cycle. Please contact us for more information." Are thoose Add-Ons others than the one listed on the web site?
Can You buy more of theese Add-Ons if You have a Basic service contract and want more than two?

Jojo or the otrs-sales team can tell you more about that.
As for us, we're using the free version only and the feature-addons are exclusive for those with a support contract with the otrs group.
I think the amount of add-ons you receive depends on your service level, but you can always buy more of them.

Even the Add-Ons that are listed under the Admin / Package Manager that I see in the free version are just for service contracters?

There is only one version of OTRS. There is no limitation of features... The "Basic", "Professional" and "Enterprise" are service contract levels. With such service contracts, you get support and add-ons that add new features... Most OTRS.com feature add-ons (those are listed in the package manager unless you disable that in the SysConfig) are only available for OTRS.com customers that have a service contract. OTRS.com have a few free add-ons: FAQ, Survey, ITSM, MasterSlave,... (see http://ftp.otrs.org/pub/otrs/packages/)
Other companies offer service contracts as well (e.g. cape-IT, perl-services.de, einraumwerk, ...). And there is a repository for add-ons written by community members (http://opar.perl-services.de) and some companies offer commercial add-ons as well (feature-addons.de, cape-IT.de).
