Single agent gets index.pl "save" prompt

Post by jnelson »

Out of the >dozen agents running on our system only one of them is getting a "save/download" prompt for index.pl roughly 90% of the time he submits a response or updates a ticket. I did a search but couldn't find an actual solution to this issue. Would really like to help this agent out and get his productivity back to normal.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Hi,

I'm having the same problem since we switched our email system to Office 365. I had to change the Core::Sendmail settings to "SMTPTLS" in order to get agent notifications on Office 365 emails. But now I'm getting "index.pl" save prompt every time I try to close a ticket, send an email...

However if I leave the Core::Sendmail settings on default "Sendmail", closing a ticket works fine. But I don't get any of the agent notifications on Office 365 emails. It works for gmail though. Does anybody else have the same issue?

I would be very grateful for any kind of help...

Have a look at the logs (OTRS log, webserver log)

I'm using SMTPTLS also but this issue ONLY happens on one agent.

Reneeb, thank you for your reply. I have checked the system log (in system administration) and in this case (save prompt "index.pl") the log is empty. Probably because nothing actually happens, user gets the save prompt window and the ticket state remains open...
